Spaces designed with the student in mind
The Globe University/Minnesota School of Business – Plymouth campus maintains clean, functional and friendly facilities that provide students with the optimal learning environment:
Small classrooms. The average class size at our Plymouth campus is about 10 students – small enough for each student to get the attention he or she needs, yet big enough for students to interact, share ideas and learn from each other.
Hi-tech labs. Some classes require lab work. Our labs are outfitted with specialized equipment, such as X-Ray machines for students in our medical assistant program, giving students exposure to different types of technology and lab procedures that they will use once they enter the workforce.
Computer labs. Students at GU/MSB-Plymouth use our computer labs for research, email, writing papers and more. Information technology students will also have access to computers.
Massage therapy studio. Massage tables are available for students in the massage therapy programs. Students at GU/MSB-Plymouth will have opportunities to receive free massages as the massage therapy students practice their techniques.
Veterinary technology lab. Students in the veterinary technology programs use this specially designed space to care for rescue animals during their training.
Fitness lab. Access to the fitness lab is not limited to health fitness specialist students – all students attending GU/MSB-Plymouth will be able to use the fitness equipment. The fitness lab includes cardio machines, free weights, resistance equipment and many fitness accessories.
The Think Pad. This space is designed for one-on-one tutoring for students who want extra help in their studies.
The library. We encourage students to make use of our various library assets to assist them in their studies. Resources include books, magazines, newspapers, reference materials, online research tools and much more. Students may also take advantage of inter-library loans.
Student nooks and crannies. Students will find comfortable couches and study spaces throughout the campus. We encourage students to use these spaces to study, socialize or take a break from their coursework.
The cafeteria. Although this space is primarily used for students to take refuel, it is also used for study sessions and student activities.
The Writing Corner. Students may go to the writing corner to get help with writing assignments, resumes, research papers, speeches, citations, essays and other questions relating to writing and research. The writing corner is staffed by writing tutors who sit down with students one-on-one to help students improve their work.
