Massage

Regina Hughes - NCTMB, CIMI, Massage Program Coordinator/Instructor

  • A.A.S., Diploma, Minnesota School of Business

Regina has worked as instructor for GU/MSB massage therapy programs since 2004, and has owned her own massage therapy business since 2001. She has completed continuing education in CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release and Active Isolated Stretching. Regina belongs to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and is an advanced Reiki Practitioner and a Licensed Infant Massage Instructor. 

Teasha Elder

  • Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork (MSMB), 1998

Teasha brought her hands-on massage technique and teaching experience to GU/MSB in 2007, after teaching five years at Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork (MSMB). She is the founder and owner of Stone Circle Reiki, an Usui Master in American Takata and Tibetan Reiki and a level 2 practitioner of Rainbow and Crystal Reiki. She has also completed a Karuna Master Reiki program. Teasha is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

Accounting

 

John Harmon

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting, University of Minnesota
  • Certified Public Accountant, State of Minnesota

John spent 7 years in public accounting and 12 years as a Chief Financial Officer in private industry.  Over the past 10 years, he has worked as a management consultant in a wide variety of companies and industries.  John has over 2 years of adjunct teaching experience in accounting, finance and software systems courses.

William R. McGhee

  • Master of Arts in Business Management, Webster University
  • Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, University of South Carolina
  • Associate of Arts in Accounting, Rasmussen College

William served in the US Army from 1976 to 1997 as a Commissioned Officer, and has worked as operations and accounting managers at various companies since his military service. As an instructor in GU/MSB’s accounting programs, his favorite courses to teach are Accounting Principles classes. William has spent much of his life overseas and enjoys hunting and camping.

Kimberly Mikolz, CPA, CIA, MPA

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Accounting, University of South Dakota
  • Masters in Professional Accountancy, University of South Dakota

Kimberly has over 4 years experience in public accounting and over three years of experience consulting.

Health Fitness Specialist

Carrie Rowell

  • B.S., University of Minnesota
  • M.I.M., University of St. Thomas

Carrie Rowell began teaching for GU/MSB’s health fitness specialist programs in 2006 at the Rochester campus.  In 2007, she became program coordinator for the Plymouth campus.  In her free time, Carrie uses her PADI diver certification to enjoy life under the water.

Dr. Dan Piper

  • Bachelor's of Science in Physical Fitness and Wellness, Moorhead State University
  • Doctor of Chiropractic, Logan College of Chiropractic

Dr. Dan Piper is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), certified by National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Dan currently owns Coyote Chiropractic, a private practice in Brooklyn Center, MN. He is also a Master Instructor at Athletic Performance, Inc., another Brooklyn Center business. Dan teaches Biomechanics, Resistance and Functional Training, Methods in Sports Training, Human Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Fitness Analysis and more.

Chris Dixon

  • Masters in Education in Applied Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Science, University of Minnesota
  • Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management, University of Minnesota

While at the University of Minnesota, Chris spent 5 years on the Men’s Track & Field team as a triple/long jumper, winning a Big Ten Championship and NCAA Midwest Regional Championship in 2003. In the same year, Chris completed a triple jump of 51 feet and 6 inches, earning him a ranking of 20th in the national and 3rd all-time at the University of Minnesota. Chris owns a personal training company called Insider Training Inc. and has experience at numerous health clubs including Bally's, Northwest Athletic Club and Lifetime Fitness.

Legal Sciences

Gabrielle Reule – Legal Program Coordinator

  • J.D., Drake University Law School
  • B.S., University of Wisconsin - La Crosse

Gabrielle trained attorneys and paralegals on how to use Westlaw, a legal research tool, at Thomson West before becoming an instructor at GU/MSB.  She also has experience as a private attorney with a focus on family law.  Prior to becoming the Program Coordinator for the legal sciences programs at our Plymouth campus, Gabrielle worked as an instructor at many Globe University/Minnesota School of Business campuses.
