Proud to offer military scholarships

If you have served in the US military or are a dependent or spouse of someone who has served, you may be eligible for several military scholarships.  We encourage you to pursue these scholarships to help reduce the cost of your education.

Call our Military Student Services Department today at 1-866-342-3505 today for more information on scholarships and other types of financial assistance such as VA benefits.  Our military staff can also advise you on how to apply to our college degree programs.

Institutional scholarships for military students

Military Service Scholarship for Injured Vets. Military personnel who have been injured in service and their families may be eligible for this scholarship, which awards up to $5,000 for those pursuing bachelor’s degrees, $2,500 for those pursuing associate degrees and $1,000 for students in diploma programs.

Military Advantage Scholarship.  This scholarship gives eligible military students a 10% discount on tuition and books after other military benefits have been applied.

Purple Heart Scholarship. Military personnel who have been wounded while serving in the Gulf wars and the families of those killed in action may be eligible for this award.  The Purple Heart Scholarship pays for any remaining tuition after federal, state and military financial aid has been applied.

Military Active Duty Scholarship. This program is for qualified students who are active duty service members, as well as their spouses and dependents. Recipients of this scholarship will receive an amount equal to the difference between the current tuition per credit charge and $250. Restrictions apply, so consult our military student services staff to learn more.
