Graduate Degree
Our Accounting and Tax Specialist AAS degree program includes many of the same courses as our AAS program in Management Accounting, plus additional coursework in tax accounting. A student will graduate from this program with the skills to become a tax specialist in accounting. This degree program also provides the foundation students need to become certified as Registered Accounting Practitioners (RAPs) or Accredited Business Accountants (ABAs).

About the program
Our associate in tax specialist degree program includes coursework in accounting and business fundamentals. Some highlights of the program are as follows:
- Topics include payroll, accounting systems, business mathematics and fraud examination
- Students take general education credits from communications, natural science, social science and the humanities
- Students take specialized courses that cover tax accounting concepts
- Coursework can be completed in 21 months of full-time study
- All courses are available online or at our Plymouth campus
- Coursework provides some preparation for RAP, ABA and CPA certifications
